1. The main theme of the conference was decided upon yesterday and is worked thus: “Science and Food for the World”.

El Congreso en Copenhague tiene ante sí, especialmente, los siguientes objetivos: ampliar los     contactos y la cooperación internacional, estimular un intercambio ágil de ideas entre los participantes, ofrecer un valioso informe internacional sobre los esfuerzos para combatir las enfermedades cardiovasculares y circulatorias e informar sobre los recientes resultados de las investigaciones en esta esfera.

4. The sessions are devoted to three main topics.

29. El seminario para científicos jóvenes en el Instituto del Cerebro de la Universidad de Oxford terminó el viernes. El seminario, en el que participaron 120 especialistas de 42 países, abordó los últimos descubrimientos teóricos y prácticos en las investigaciones sobre el cerebro, especialmente, los procesos químicos que ocurren en el cerebro durante la transmisión de información.

30. Today in Geneva a further education course for directors of museums and libraries began. It is an international course which comes under the general control of UNESCO.
